XP Home-tan (Homeko) personality type is ENTP, and the type Pertinent to my career is the ISTJ. When people look at a personality type and see it as a “label”, many people might not be familiar with how to deal with the “label”. The ISTJ is actually a very broad type because it can fit into many different careers and professions.
Most of the ISTJ’s I have met are usually not ISTJs. They are usually just playing one. The ISTJ has a tendency to blend in and become a shadow of their true self. This is because of the way our society is set up and the way we are raised. We are taught that our best interests are in supporting the “system” and that doing something outside of the box is not right or fair.
I have observed that the more that an ISTJ person wants to be different than they are, the more they will struggle with the idea that they are not who they want to be. This is because they will have been taught that they should have stayed in their safe little box, while others are “risk takers”.
