Kai personality type is ISFP, because that’s the best fit. Stiles is not an ISFP. He is also not an INFP, some other theory is necessary to account for his behavior.
The most obvious choice is ISTP. Stiles’s whole MO is to solve problems by action, and that fits perfectly with ISTP. ISTPs are competent and decisive. They are often called “The Action Boy” because of their tendency to take action without thinking too much about it. Stiles is an excellent example of this because he is so quick to act without thinking. He is quick to act on emotion, too, as an ISTP.
To add to the ISTP theory, the first episode of season 1 has a great example of Stiles’s impulsivity and confidence. Stiles’s plan in this episode is to get rid of the body in order to avoid suspicion, and it goes absolutely perfectly. He takes action without hesitation or even thinking about it.
The only problem with ISTP is that Stiles does not act impulsively in school. He does not act on emotion, either. He acts on logic, and he does not have much confidence in his actions.
