As a kid, I was a big reader. I remember reading every single book my mom had in the house. I had a huge bookcase full of books, and I would read them all. I can't remember a time when I was not reading. I devoured every book I could get my hands on. Books were an escape from reality. In my opinion, they were better than television, because there were no bad guys to fight, and you didn't have to worry about the plot or character development. You could dive right into the story.
I still love to read today. I'm a voracious reader of non-fiction. I devour books on a daily basis. If I had to pick just one book to recommend for anyone who has not read it before, it would be The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.
I read it when it first came out, and I'm still reading it today. It changed my life.
