I was supposed to be on a panel with David Hayward, but he canceled at the last minute. So I decided to write a post instead.
I'm not a good person at all.
But I love my job.
It's been amazing how well I've been able to keep up with the changes in technology and keep up with the increasing requirements of the ENFP personality type. As the web development field has become more and more technical, I've been able to find ways to make my programming more efficient and still allow for a high degree of ENFP-ness.
I think my programming skills have also helped me develop my ability to work with people, which is something I have always struggled with. I have a hard time making friends, and I'm not the best at working with other people on a large project. However, I have learned that people are the most important part of any business. It always makes me sad when people are upset about something, so I try to put myself in their shoes and really understand their point of view before I engage them in conversation.
