The fact that many people believe that an INFJ can fall for a sociopath because of their kindness and idealism is baffling. As an INFJ, I can say with certainty that INFJs are not naive, as some people seem to think we are. We are not stupid or gullible and we are not easily fooled or manipulated. INFJs cannot be “brainwashed” into loving someone or falling in love with someone who is genuinely nice and kind. That is impossible.
