Chapter 1:
"How much do you love me?"
Nathan raised an eyebrow at the question. The woman he was currently sitting in a very expensive restaurant with was raising her own eyebrow at his reaction.
"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that." He said.
"I asked you how much you love me."
"Why would I tell you that?"
"Well, if you love me, you'll tell me." She said, accentuating her point.
"Well, it's not like I love you or anything. We've only known each other for a couple weeks."
"So?" She said, shrugging. "I'm willing to keep an open mind about it." She said, smiling at her boyfriend. He smiled back, which only seemed to make her smile bigger.
