The adults played the role of parents, teachers and friends, but weren't written to be adults. They were just people. Their dialogue was great, and they felt like real people to us. We enjoyed watching them interact with the children, and seeing their personalities shine through.
We liked the little kid actors too; they played their characters' emotions well. Their facial expressions made us laugh, and we could tell that their family members appreciated their appearance in the film.
We also liked the fact that there were a lot of twists in this film. It was exciting when we saw unexpected things happen, and we found ourselves liking certain characters better than others as the story went on.
