Luigi "One Jump man" personality type is ISFJ, which is my function. But that's a bit of an unpopular opinion at the moment, because in the past few years there has been an influx of ENFPs and INFPs, and it seems like that's where the majority of the characters are coming from now. (And some people might argue that Mario is a more "functional" ENFP than ISFJ, since he doesn't do much of anything.)
Of course, there are some exceptions. Some people might argue that Mario is a more "functional" ISFJ than ESFJ, since he makes the world a better place by saving the princess, which ISFJs are supposed to do. (And this ISFJ-ness could be a reason why Mario seems to be popular among Asian fans, who might see him as a relatable character, even if he's not the stereotypical "nice guy.")
But the majority of Mario's appearances are done by ENFPs and INFPs, so I think it's safe to say that Mario is an ENFP.
