Tiger personality type is ISTP, and Tiger is probably the type that you have in mind. In his book “The Dark Side of the Personality Type” he describes the ISTP as “Gentle, polite and quiet, the ISTP is a person who prefers to observe rather than participate.” Tiger says, “When the ISTP comes across as mysterious, he or she is likely to be misunderstood, which is why the ISTP is often seen as standoffish.”
I think this describes me very well. I don’t know how people interpret me, and I don’t know how my parents interpret me. I think I am a Tiger, not an emperor, but I can be very brave and very confident in myself.
As a personality type, my favorite movie is “The Shawshank Redemption”. The movie has an ISTP theme, and it is one of my favorite dramas. In the movie, Andy Dufrense is an ISTP.
I also love “The Shining” by Stanley Kubrick, this movie has a lot of Dark Knight theme in it. The movie also has a lot of ISTP themes.
