Garthir's Shadow side is one of the most brutal and deadly characters in the entire game, with a very violent and animalistic appearance. While he is normally a very good natured person, his Shadow side is a very cruel and darker persona. He is one of the few characters in the game who is able to kill an entire colony of baby Clansmen with ease, and even kill the leader of the Clansmen (who had been immune to his attacks as well).
Garthir is also one of the few characters in the game who can defeat an Elder Dragon with sheer strength alone. His attacks are extremely powerful, and he only needs one hit to defeat an Elder Dragon. Garthir can also use a special technique which allows him to fly at high speeds. This technique allows Garthir to kill certain enemies or reach certain areas that would otherwise be impossible for him to reach. He can fly up to 300 meters at a time in this technique. Garthir's image on the game's loading screen shows him flying over a Dragon Graveyard.
