Gratian Caerellius is an Imperial commoner and member of the East Empire Company living in the mine at Raven Rock. He is one of three colonists available to become a guard in Raven Rock for the quest "Hiring Guards." He met his demise some time later in the bowels of Raven Rock mine along with his assistant Millius soon after discovering the Bloodskal Blade, from wounds he sustained fighting Draugr. The East Empire Company covered this up and claimed his death had been the result of a tragic accident.
