I've yet to see anyone argue with the 4w3 thing.
I think you may have confused 4w5 with 4w3. 4w5 is the tertiary of the 4w3 and 4w5 is a rarer type. You can find some of my 4w3 friends in the ISFP forum, but I've never seen any of the rarer types there.
janex Where do you get the 4w3? Is it on the MBTI site or from an actual professional?
papartridge I tend to think that the way we are taught to calculate Myers-Briggs is completely flawed. Many of my schoolmates use it as a handy guide for how to classify people in the workplace, but it's not a reliable guide at all.
It's just one of those things where it gets used by people who want to see how accurate they are at classifying people, and then it gets passed on like gospel.
