In my opinion, Seyyed Hadi Hedayat is a very original and interesting thinker and writer, who is able to see and understand the world in a different way.
I am convinced that Seyyed Hadi Hedayat lacks knowledge of the western world – he has never been there, and has hardly ever read any books written in English. He has no idea of the world outside of Iran.
The reason for this is that his work is based on the Islamic culture. He has never had access to books written in English. If he had read them, he would have learned that he has many European friends who are unable to read Persian, but who can read English.
Without access to foreign books, Seyyed Hadi Hedayat will never be able to understand the western world, and vice versa.
The only book that I have read by Seyyed Hadi Hedayat is his book, "The Man with Two Souls". I found it very interesting, but I have no idea how accurate it is.
