Om Nelle personality type is ESFJ, and she is a fairly new member of the blogosphere. She is also a volunteer at a local food bank. I don’t know how much of this she is willing to share, so I am not going to ask her if she wants to write her story.
So this is my story.
I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, the only child of a single mother. I know this could be considered privileged, but I was always poor. My mom was a school teacher but would often times get fired because the school board was afraid she was going to sue them for discrimination.
In sixth grade my mother split with my dad and I had to move in with my aunt and uncle. They were kind people, but had no idea how to raise a teenager. My aunt worked nights, so I had to stay up late watching TV by myself. I felt very isolated, and my uncle and I would fight constantly.
In high school, I started regularly skipping school. I lied about why I was absent and would just leave for a couple days at a time. At that time, I was trying to get pregnant with my future husband (who is actually the father of my kids).
