Eugene Hartmann personality type is ISFJ, and for my purposes here, I will simply use the ISFJ description.
I am only going to cover a few of the many possible aspects and functions of the ISFJ, but the rest of this article will describe the type in depth. For now, though, I want to do a quick overview and then leave you with a few tips for working with ISFJs.
ISFJ – The Judging/Understanding Type
When I saw the word “judge”, I immediately thought of the word “reconcile”. (I know this may seem odd, but it’s actually quite accurate.) The ISFJ is a Reconciler, which means they have the natural ability to understand other people’s perspective and act accordingly. In fact, they are often the one who points out when others may be acting inappropriately or unfairly. They are also very good at explaining their point of view to others, as long as they understand where the other person is coming from.
The ISFJ is not known to be overly emotionally strong, but they are very good at taking care of others.
