Sakuyamon personality type is INFJ, or the "introverted intuitive judger". For those that haven't been paying attention, INFJ stands for "introverted intuitive Feeling Judging", and is a type of personality type found on the Myers-Briggs MBTI scales. This personality type is more commonly known as the "Counselor". The way I finished writing this was I decided to make them a little more like the Counselors in MLP: Friendship is Magic, as opposed to just having them be the "helpers". If the idea still wasn't funny after that, then I don't know what to tell you.
tl;dr: They are not stupid. They are just more careful than most. They do not talk down to others, they just have a harder time understanding how people think. And they're surprisingly good at reading people.
