CL personality type is ESTP, with type ESFP being much more common in women, less common in men. Most of the people in my discipline are ESTP, but about 40% are ESFP.
Why are there so many ESTP's in the development field? It's because development has historically been staffed by people who are ESTP, and this has created a self-reinforcing effect. When ESTP's dominate a field, you get a lot of ESTP's running around making things happen. Then if you have an ESTP in charge you get to run things, and if you have an ESTP in the field, then the rest of the time you're just sitting around making things happen.
It's not clear to me why I'm so much more likely to be an ESTP than other types. Maybe it's because I have a lot of ENFJ's in me, I've always been very much into people, and I don't have a very good sense of direction. But I'm not sure.
Lee Chaelin (이채린) born on February 26, 1991, better known by her stage name CL (씨엘), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and rapper. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, but spent much of her early life in the US, Japan and France. CL was a trainee under JYP Entertainment where she trained alongside with members of 2AM, Wonder Girls, and Miss A before joining YG Entertainment in 2006 and became the Leader, main rapper, lead dancer, lead vocalist, the face of the girl group 2NE1 until it disbanded in 2016.
CL departed from YG Entertainment on November 8, 2019.
