I've found that I am very good at taking the time to really understand the people in my life, and become good friends with them. It never occurred to me, however, that I would be able to benefit from this trait. I found myself to have a remarkable ability to know people, and I began to make friends easily.
But this personality is also highly aware when others are not being true to their own values, or have other less than ideal motives for what they're doing. Being able to read people well is a very useful skill, but it can also lead people to think that you're just a little bit psychic. I try to get people to tell me what they want me to know, so that I can help them. But, if they say nothing at all, I can't help but be suspicious. It's frustrating.
I've found that if someone wants something bad enough, they will find a way to get it. I have a very strong intuition about people's actions, and I've learned how to use this very useful trait to my advantage. But, sometimes it's not even how you want things to turn out.
