Shofar personality type is ENFJ, but I am an INFJ.
I didn't know I was an INFJ until after my first year of college. I attended college in Michigan, a place that I had visited on a class trip in high school. It was my first time visiting the state, so I was excited to explore. I went to the campus registrar's office to get information about classes. The woman at the desk looked at me and said, "Are you one of the football players?" I said yes and that I was there to get information about classes. She asked me what my major was and I said that I was majoring in psychology. She said, "You don't want to be a psychologist. It's a very boring major." At the time, I felt like she was insulting my intelligence and my dream of becoming a psychologist. Maybe it was because I had been in trouble with my parents as a teenager and had been sent to live on a farm with my grandparents. Perhaps the woman assumed that I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. Whatever the reason, it hurt to hear her words and I felt small and unworthy. As soon as she said it, I realized that she was an INFJ personality type.
