Tony personality type is ISFJ, and that's a relief. He is what I call a "shy, sensitive, goofy" ISFJ. I know there are other types, but I only know the three I listed. I've met some of the other types who are ISFJs, and they are generally very cool and funny. (I just love the descriptions of that type's lives, too.)
Anyhoo, I am an ISFJ, and I find that description very accurate. It fits me to a T.
There are also descriptions of the ISFJ in many books of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
If you want to know more about the types, I would recommend "Myers Briggs Type Indicator" by Linda Berens. It is a very good book, and it's about $9 at Barnes & Noble or Borders. You can also google for it - it's not hard to find.
That book will give you a lot of information about the types, including descriptions of the various types.
