(My last interviewee didn’t like the way I asked about her personality type, and I misunderstood her, so I wanted to make sure to clarify that this is not a question about the type of person she is. It’s simply a question about the way she interacts with other people.)
The context of this interaction was that she was sitting next to me during the interview, and I thought she seemed familiar; when I looked up, I saw that it was her. So, I asked her: “So, I guess the reason I’m asking is because you seem familiar. You seem like you and your brother were in my class last year. My name is Will, by the way. And I’m curious as to whether you transferred to this school or if you and your brother are here on a scholarship.”
