Akina25 personality type is INFP, and I think that INFPs have a lot of potential for development. I like the challenge of figuring them out, and I think they have a tremendous amount of love and capacity to give to someone.
But there is another part of me that thinks that INFPs are some of the hardest people to understand. And the reasons why are really pretty simple.
INFPs are very literal.
INFPs tend to be very literal. It’s not a matter of poor English, but rather a disbelief in metaphor and symbolism. If they don’t get it, you need to explain it. It’s not like they are just being stubborn and incomprehensible, it’s that they think that there is a very specific way to refer to things, and you must get it right.
I think this stems from a very literal childhood, because INFPs are very literal in their daydreaming as well. They don’t make up stories, they stick to the rules of reality. They can’t go off on crazy tangents because they don’t know if the story is going where they want it to go.
And that is okay.
