Carl Jung personality type is INFJ, so I often feel very much like an INFJ.
When I was younger I had a friend who was really good at what she did. She was so talented and so smart, but she didn’t see it. She was completely unaware of the fact that she was gifted. I tried to give her advice about how to improve her success, but she didn’t seem to want to take it. She probably understood that I was trying to help her, but she didn’t want to change. She felt that she was already doing everything that she needed to do, and she was already successful. She didn’t want to try anything new. She didn’t want to expand her horizons. She wanted to stay within her comfort zone.
But I see this very often with INFJs. INFJs are the “people” people. They love people, and they are always trying to help people. INFJs are always reaching out to others for help, but they don’t necessarily ask for help themselves. They are good at being the caregiver, but INFJs don’t necessarily want to be caregivers.
INFJs are very independent thinkers.
