Their strength is their heart, and their Achilles' heel is their need for control. They are often so overwhelmed by the needs of others that they lose themselves in their efforts to make things better for everyone else.
In order to truly help others - especially their friends and family - ENFJs must open up and reach out to trust people at their own emotional level. They can be so focused on what's best for others that they miss the fact that they are also very much affected by these people.
When ENFJs feel stressed, frustrated, or overwhelmed, they take it out on others by being critical and pushy. Their needs are met by taking care of others, but they can also become so distracted by this duty that they are no longer able to meet their own needs.
ENFs also often have difficulty expressing their feelings and emotions. They often feel uncomfortable being honest, and instead seek to avoid conflict with others by acting in a way that puts them on a pedestal.
