Moon personality type is INFJ, which indeed means it’s not an easy one to navigate emotionally for the INFJ. As an INFJ, I feel like there are more things I could be doing with my life than what I’m actually doing, and I can’t tell you how many times I do think about leaving the workplace for something that I think would be more fulfilling in the long-term.
The INFJ’s inferior function is the auxiliary function, which is the first function that functions would take in an INTP or ENTP. In contrast, INTPs and ENTPs have their first function as their superior function.
This is one of the reasons INFJs struggle to get their work done in a timely manner: they have to tackle the auxiliary function first, and then they must then tackle the inferior function.
INFJs may also struggle with their inferior function because they are often considered perfectionists. When they see a problem in a situation, they will want to fix it immediately. This can easily cause them to get frustrated or even upset when their efforts aren’t immediately met with positive results.
