Alec personality type is ISTJ, and if you read my post about ISTJ, you’ll know that the ISTJ is generally serious, reserved, and practical. I’m a pretty serious person, but I’m also very practical and realistic, so I often have to keep myself in check to not let my emotions get the best of me. There can be times when I get too worked up about things, but I try to control that and stay focused. I know it’s something I need to work on, as it can cause problems for me, but I’m not sure how to do that.
I know that when I’m in the presence of ISTJs, they are generally focused on their own thoughts and the tasks they are doing. They tend to be quiet and somewhat reserved, but they can be very matter-of-fact and direct, and you could say that they are “to the point.” It’s not because they are rude or abrasive; it’s just how they are. Sometimes that can annoy me, because I need more emotional communication from people.
