N personality type is INFP, and the INTJ has a preference for the ENTJ type.
In the first part of the study, the researchers compared the personality types of 80,000 individuals who had been surveyed from many different countries on their Myers-Briggs personality types. As the study explains, “INTJs are not as rare as they used to be, but they are still approximately twice as rare as INTPs, and they are even more rare than both INTPs and ENTJs combined.”
In the second part of the study, the researchers compared the Myers-Briggs types of people who had been surveyed from more than 2,000 organizations.
The results revealed that INTJs make up a smaller percentage of top employees in their companies than the other types. The researchers also found that “INTJs are overrepresented in the most prestigious positions and are overrepresented in both male and female leadership.”
So what’s the takeaway for INTJs?
There are some INTJs who have found that it is more common for them to find themselves in jobs that don’t carry a lot of prestige.
