Z personality type is ENFP, is thus a natural born leader. ENFPs are often more natural leaders than any other type. They are charismatic, and have a natural ability to inspire others. Their idealistic – no, idealistic – nature makes them idealists, and idealists don’t always make the best leaders.
But that’s what makes them so great. Their charisma, their charm, their ability to inspire others can make them great leaders. But the ENFP also has a blind spot. They can’t see the flaws in their idealism and they can’t see what isn’t working: they just see the brilliance of their plans. ENFPs are often the only type that will give up on a project when it’s obviously failing. In the book The Heretic’s Guide to Leadership, author Seth Godin talks about this blind spot:
“The ENFP has a blind spot – an inability to see the flaws in their own plan. They see only the brilliance of their plan.…”
But that’s what makes them so great. Their charisma, their charm, their ability to inspire others can make them great leaders.
