Thus, on the short-term, the relationship is often quite good for both of us. I don't know how she does it, but she sees things and people in a way that makes me feel like an utter fool. I spend most of my waking hours looking around my life at everything and everyone, and I see the world as a series of issues that I have to deal with.
She, on the other hand, sees the world as rich, full of things to love about it. She sees herself as a strong woman who is capable of living her life on her own terms. She sees the problems in my life as annoyances, and when they are annoying her, she will brainstorm how she can work out a solution that will make me happy in the long-term.
