Sukhoi SU-35 "Flanker-E" personality type is ESFP, the "anti-tank destroyer" that looks to the future. The SU-35's design incorporates many of the advances of the Su-27 and Su-30, including the Su-27's new "flesh" and Su-30's "dry" skins. The SU-35 is also the first Russian aircraft to be equipped with a thrust vectoring nozzle, a feature that enables the aircraft to perform supermaneuverability maneuvers and make very precise turns.
The SU-35 is a "multirole fighter," capable of performing air superiority, deep interdiction, and close air support missions. The aircraft can carry a variety of weapons, including the AAMs and air-to-surface missile systems of the SU-27 Flanker family, but it is perhaps best known for its ability to carry the latest Russian air-launched anti-ship missiles, as well as the Russian Kh-35 missile.
The SU-35 is capable of plying at altitudes of 60,000 feet and speeds in excess of Mach 2.5.
