Not too long ago, I was talking to a friend in the car about how I was finding it difficult to find a job in my field (writing). He told me that he'd been laid off a few days before that, but I didn't take the time to pay attention to what he said at the time because I felt like it was of no importance. I've been finding it difficult to find work in my field, and I've had a few job interviews that have gone really well. I've been looking for jobs for about two months now, but I haven't gotten any offers yet. I'm starting to feel depressed about the whole situation, and I'm thinking about changing my career path to something that requires less writing and more math or science (I'm not very good at math).
I have been researching into celibacy, or sainthood, and I've found that it is easier to be a monk or a nun than it is to raise children.
