I have a younger sister who is 27 years old. My parents are both in their 50s. My father is a high school English teacher and my mother is a kindergarten teacher. They are very supportive of me and my work. I go to the University of Virginia and I have a job at a law firm in DC. I'm not sure what I want to do when I graduate. I plan to go to law school one day; I want to be in a field that suits my personality type.
You've had an interesting childhood. What were some of the highlights of it, and what are some of your favorite memories?
My favorite memories are of my parents and friends from Korea and my time in Singapore. My parents took me to Korea when I was three years old, and I fell in love with everything about the country. The food, the people, the culture, the language, the stories, all of it just spoke to me. I knew right away that Korea was home for me.
