They're not interested in drama or fluff, and they don't see the point of other people's drama or fluff. They may not ever show it, but if you know an ISTP, you know that they are very good at what they do and they are usually pretty good at keeping themselves out of trouble.
They're usually pretty low-maintenance people who don't have a lot of personal energy to spend on other people. They certainly don't have a lot of time for people who want them to do things just because they like doing things. They like to do things because they know they need to do them.
