Anna Meredith personality type is INFP, and I’m an INFP. My Myers-Briggs personality type is INFJ, and I’m an INFJ. When the two of us worked together in the same company, we worked together in harmony and collaboration for over 8 years. And it was no accident that we worked well together. We had common interests and we met each other’s needs.
We had a great personal relationship and we each complimented the other with our strengths and ways of working.
The problem was, we didn’t always agree on the direction of the company and we disagreed about the direction of the technology we were developing. I believed that technology should be focused on helping people, and that technology should be built with empathy and consideration for people, and that people should be valued as equals. We worked on projects that focused on helping people, such as building a mobile application to help people who had been hit by a car to receive medical attention at home, or building an artificial intelligence system to allow people to ask questions and receive answers, so that people could learn and grow.
She believed that technology should be focused on making money and making things faster and cheaper.
