Sherri was the youngest of three children. Her father was a stickler for discipline, and her mother was a supporter of her children being able to do what they wanted. Sherri learned early on that rules were there for a reason, and she respected those boundaries. As a child Sherri was very active and would go on many adventures with her siblings and friends. She would play outside all day long with her friends and run around outside for hours. When she entered her teenage years she became interested in sports, and she also played high school basketball.
Sherri’s family moved to Southern California when she was in high school. She became involved in many clubs and activities in high school, but she still spent a lot of time outside with her friends. In her junior year, Sherri began dating a boy named Donny, who was about a year older than Sherri.
