Official HIGE DANdism - White Noise personality type is ISTJ, but not sure about the rest.
Can I say this: When I first read your message, I was surprised that you were an INFP. I thought to myself "oh, the ISTJ white noise personality was right" - it's true, there are no bad types in the MBTI, but everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and not all of them are inherently bad. My first reaction was that you were probably one of the rare INFPs who don't fit the stereotypical type; but then I realized that those INFPs just don't exist. You're here, so that means you're one of the rare ones.
I don't think the ISTJ/INTP dichotomy is as cut-and-dry as some make it out to be. As I said, I'm an ISTJ, and I've known at least two INTPs who fit my description. They're both very intelligent and logical people; but they also both have trouble with emotional stuff, as ISTJs tend to be.
I think ISTJs are over-represented in the white noise world because they have a reputation for being logical and practical, which is what it takes to succeed in that world.
