Папа Папиной дочки personality type is ISTP, a natural born leader. “It’s not my fault that I’m an ISTP!” she’d say, with a mischievous smile. I knew I could use her for some photographic inspiration since she was always on the move.
I had my work cut out for me. I had to find the best way to photograph the two of them together. One of the biggest obstacles I had to overcome was their different personalities. My wife is a very shy person and she can be very shy when posing for photographs. I had to find a way to make sure she did not feel awkward. I felt that if I was able to use the nature to my advantage, I would be able to make it work.
I wanted to create a photo series that had a feeling of motion and movement. I had my wife, or Nana, walk through the woods, sitting on the back of our dog, Coco, while my grandfather, Assaf, rides on his bicycle all around the woods.
I am very happy with the outcome of this photo shoot, and I think it is something quite close to what my grandmother would have liked.
