I think Jaimie Vaes is an interesting person, and I am glad that he has started a blog that allows him to express himself freely.
But a blog is not the medium in which to express yourself freely. It is not the medium in which to say whatever you want and get away with it. It is not the medium in which to write the truth.
Instead, it is the medium in which to say what you want to say, but what you think other people want to hear. It is the medium in which to write what you think will get you attention, or help you save face, or make a point but without any real substance.
It is the medium in which you say what you think other people want you to say, not what you actually think.
You have to be careful what you write. If what you have written is not what you actually think, then it will backfire on you. You will get the wrong kind of attention and maybe even the wrong kind of criticism.
It’s a hazardous thing to embark on.
