Drea Barris personality type is ISFJ, but that may be because the way she was raised. Her mother, who is, by all accounts, a very good person and a very strong woman, bought into the idea that she was an angel who had come down to earth and was supposed to fix everything. This made her feel special, and she bought into it enough that it became her identity. The social pressure to be perfect and to fix everything or else made her feel like she had to be perfect.
The result is that she became so successful at making everyone else feel bad that she gave up on herself, and she can’t really pull herself out of it. She’s become bitter and cynical and critical of everyone and everything around her, which is what drove her husband away. She’s angry at the world, at God, and at the people who were supposed to love her.
How can you help someone who is like that? You can’t. You can’t fix yourself, and you can’t get them out of themselves.
One problem with the ISFJ personality type is that our parents only see us as little people.
