He also found out that Eggman N required eye patches and his name was Eggman (Eggman) Jr. He then left to ask Rouge if she knew anything about this grandson of Eggman's. Rouge then asked him if he would like to see a photograph of Eggman (Eggman) Jr. Shadow then asked her why he needed to see a photograph of someone who was dead and she told him that he would need to see one in order to "get it".
After seeing the photograph, Shadow realized that Eggman (Eggman) Jr. looked just like him, only with a patch over his right eye. Shadow then went to Rouge's house and told her about his discovery. Rouge then told him that she knew about Dr. Eggman's grandson, but that it was actually a lie and that he was actually Dr. Eggman's son, Scourge the Hedgehog.
