Einar Solberg was born on 27 October 1968, in Umeå, Sweden.[22] He is the son of Per-Einar Solberg and Margareta Solberg. His younger brother is the musician Per-Einar Solberg.

He is founder, vocalist and keyboardist of band Leprous.
