I hate to say it, but I think that’s true of me. It’s such a contradiction, but it’s true. I guess it reflects a lack of self-confidence. You know, if I know something is wrong, I feel like I should fix it — and I don’t know how to fix it. So I just ignore it.
How do you deal with feeling like you’re failing to function as an adult?
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with failing. You have to fail in order to learn how to succeed. Nobody has all the answers; they all learn from each other. Some people learn through experience, some through books, some through teachers. I think everybody can learn from somebody else, because the only thing we all have in common is experience.
