Gianluca Ginoble personality type is ISFP, or Introverted, Sensing, and Feeling. I’m sure that the “feeling” part of that type can be a bit of a surprise for some people, because many people see introverts as being less sensitive and “shallow” than other types.
While I don’t think that is the case, it is true that most introverted people are less likely than extroverts to be expressive or show their feelings. And I think that’s one of the reasons I’ve always struggled with public speaking. I can feel my emotions very strongly, but if I don’t feel like talking about something, I’m not going to talk about it.
I’m not sure why it is that way for me. Maybe because my parents never told me not to show my feelings, and I didn’t learn that it was wrong to do so. (I’m sure my parents would say they never told me not to show my feelings, but I think they really were concerned with this issue.) Or maybe because I was homeschooled and rarely saw other people express their feelings openly.
