While I can’t deny that I’ve experienced the challenges of impatience before (and most of us have) I don’t think it is the root of what I experienced at the United Nations. As an ISTP, I’m naturally curious and I’m not afraid to ask questions. I had no problem asking questions about the process of the UN. In fact, I was eager to learn about the process, since I know how frustrating it can be to have to wait for a decision.
What I did not expect was for people to take offense at my asking questions or for them to treat me like I was a child.
This is one of the main reasons why I started Ask Me Anything. It’s a way to communicate with the world and to learn how they think and what they think is important. The world needs you to ask these questions because we can all learn from one another.
