Other than his behavior, the only "canon" reference to Freddy Fazbear is his supposed time as a child, where he was bullied and picked on. Either that or he was a normal kid and was friends with the other kids at the diner, just like the others. He may have been bullied by another child or kids or he may have been just an average boy.
What really needs to be done, however, is to find the child who bullied Freddy. It is unlikely that they would still be alive. In fact, it's unlikely that they were even alive when Freddy was a child, but we can't really rule out the possibility.
The bullies who bullied Freddy may have been the adults who worked at the pizzeria. They may have been sick individuals who let their emotions control them, or they may have been mentally unstable adults who let their anger and hatred for children get the better of them. Or, they may have simply been average adults who were unable to control the anger in them when they came across Freddy.
Whatever the case may be, it is likely that these adults were unable to control themselves and they hurt Freddy.
