Background
Yu was born as a princess of the Xia Dynasty, being the daughter of Consort Yu (虞姬) personality type. As a child, she befriended Emperor Ling, who quickly became attracted to her. However, she refused to be romantically involved with him due to her being a woman. In order to win her heart, Emperor Ling gave her a magical pearl that would turn her into a man when she reached a certain age. She would then live for 100 years in order to regain her youth. However, the pearl is broken and so she cannot use it.
Role in Games
Yu is first seen in the Chapter 5 when she is playing with her doll, Who (王), while her mother is away. After completing enough missions for her mother's approval, Yu introduces herself to Dong Zhuo, who immediately becomes attracted to her. He tells her that he will give her power if she seduces him.
