Personal life
Carlsson was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and grew up in the suburb of Västermalm. He has one younger sister named Johanna. He spent his childhood in Västerås, playing in a band called "Sway" which also included his brother and childhood friend. After dropping out of high school in 1999 at the age of 17, he moved to Stockholm and formed a group called "The Wretched". The Wretched signed with Sony BMG in 1999 and released their first album "The Wretched" in 2000.
