Grimaldo is a fictional character and a superhero in the Marvel Comics universe. He first appeared in Fantastic Four #475 (August 1991). Created by writer/artist John Byrne, the character first appeared as the leader of the Grim Legion, an army of super-villains dedicated to destroying the Fantastic Four.
The Grim Legion is an evil group which was created by a dying scientist who wanted to destroy the Fantastic Four. It is composed of five of the most powerful supervillains in the Marvel Universe:
The Front Line: The Human Torch, a man who can control fire, and whose body generates tremendous heat;
The Thing, a rock-like humanoid with amazing strength;
Grimace, a man made of living ice;
Mole Man, a humanoid with incredible speed; and
Grimaldo, a powerful sorcerer.
In addition to this core group, the other members include the Sub-Mariner, former Avengers foe the Mad Thinker, and the Molecule Man (who was killed and resurrected in the end).
