What is the personality type of Depressive/Self-Defeating? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Depressive/Self-Defeating from Personality Disorders and what is the personality traits.
Depressive/Self-Defeating personality type is INFP, and I have always been a bit of a loner. I became a loner because I was not accepted by the popular kids in school. I was the one who was different and who didn't fit in. I didn't want to be a part of any cliques, and I never did. I just kept to myself. I was always the quiet one, and people didn't like that very much. I hated the fact that people were always staring at me and talking about me behind my back. I was subjected to constant bullying throughout my elementary and middle school years. As a result of this, I developed an inferiority complex. I had a deep-seated feeling that I was unworthy and undeserving, and that everyone else was better than me. This inferiority complex made me feel as if I had no value in society. The feeling of worthlessness actually made me feel depressed, and it made me want to end my life.
I am not saying that all INFPs suffer from depression or have suicidal thoughts. In fact, most INFPs lead quite healthy lives. However, there are several reasons why many INFPs struggle with depression.
