I think it is. I don't see any personality type as inherently better or worse than another. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. The only difference between one person and another is that some of us have more of one or more of those strengths.
I've always seen myself as an "all-rounder". When I was younger, I didn't really know what I was. I had a bit of everything, a bit of the studious, a bit of the exuberant, a bit of the quiet, a bit of the practical, a bit of the not-so-practical. As I've grown up, I've become much more aware of my strengths and weaknesses, and I've moved away from trying to be all things to all people.
I was called "All-rounder" by my friends. I knew the idea of having all-round skills was just a stereotype, but people really did believe that you needed all-round skills to succeed in life.
